Bound Together is the second book in the Torn and bound duet. You have to read Torn Apart first.This is one of the best duets I have ever read!This book! Wow! Y’all, the sexual tension and sex scenes in this book is off the freaking charts hot!! I am completely addicted to this duet! Im left breathless! Everything about this was just perfect!K Webster and Nikki ash are phenomenal writers.Ashton, Braydon, Drew and Mia are everything y’all!Ashton is the goofy, loud mouth, bossy,flirt of the four.Braydon is the hockey jock and protector of the group. He is always making sure everyone is okay.Drew is the hockey coach and alpha daddy of the group. He looks out for everyone’s well being.Mia is the beautiful sweet video game loving smart nerdy girl, with the biggest damn heart!The way these four love and respect each other is something truly special!I had all the feels reading this! Ashton constantly had me laughing out loud And also had me tearing up in a couple parts! This is a must read! I highly recommend this duet!! Take it or leave it is my feeling after reading this.When I first started it I wanted this story to be injected into my veins I was hooked so much. I was like yes this is good, yes this is how I was hoping the second installment would go. But by 75% I was like oh yeah now I remember why I can’t always get into new adult. Late teens and early twenties are so insufferable!!! And my high quickly faded. Leaving me to drop this book for a couple of days. But my curiosity got the best of me and I had to see this through. And yeah, take it or leave it.I felt like Drew was sorta forgotten about and they were like oh yeah his BIG secret has to appear riiiiight about now!! And I was not really sure if I wanted him to go or to make it through. That sounds horrible I know, but he was so muted in this story I was like either way is ok with me.And the way their issues were semi resolved just made all of the catalytic issues that moved the story along fall flat. No real umph. Annnd my biggest let down was that all of that delicious tension from the first installment did not lead to too hot to handle love scenes. Not for me at least. This read like a instruction manual to make it appear more realistic. But it wasn’t hot at all. So bummed. And this is a bitter pill to swallow, but I don’t believe that these four people could ever be in a foursome. I don’t know what happened.Maybe I’m in a more serious book funk than I let on or this writing duo is not doing it for me at all? But on a brighter note, I really wanted Mia to get the love and devotion she so rightly deserved and these ladies did not disappoint on that aspect. So there’s that at least.
